Structure and conformational flexibility of RNA studied by EPR spectroscopy
Pulsed EPR spectroscopy with rigid spin labels will be used to study structure and conformational flexibility (dynamics) of several RNA motives. We will do this as a function of the environment (molecular crowding), the ion concentration and the changes introduced by ligand or protein binding. Additionally, we will extend the EPR methodology to experiments at room temperature and measurements in cells. More
